Marine Conservation

What's it all about?

Learn more about the marine habitat and man’s influence on the animals that live there and how the Deep Sea World team actively supports global conservation. What can you do to help?

Learning Outcomes

Be able to understand what the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species is all about, and why it is important to get involved in promoting marine conservation.

Sharks

What's it all about?

When asked to think of a shark most people picture “Jaws”. Here at Deep Sea World we will dispel that myth and prove sharks are intelligent. We will look at British Sharks and how we can help in conservation.

Learning Outcomes

Be able to describe how sharks are able to adapt to changes in their environment, and why they need to be protected.
